Five Star Paving was started in 1981 by Brian “Red” McNulty, Wayne McNulty, and Craig McNulty. The Company’s humble beginnings consisted of a pickup truck, a few tools and rental dump trucks used to bring asphalt to our customers. The first jobs were earned through door knocking houses and commercial developments throughout Victoria.

As the McNulty’s and Five Star Paving earned a reputation for quality, hard work and competitive pricing, the company started to expand and reinvested the newly found capital in more equipment and office space. The first office was located in Esquimalt and then the headquarters was moved out to the Keating Cross Rd Area.

In the early 2000’s Five Star Paving started a Brick Division and in 2010 a Concrete Division. Both services compliment the paving business and offer their customers the complete package deal with a guarantee from a reputable company. Now Five Star Paving is proud to offer a full civil division for all your other needs to complete your project.

Brian McNulty has since passed on, while Craig and Wayne are still involved in the business but are making way for the third generation, James and Ashley McNulty, to carry Five Star Paving into the future. With a new focus on safety, environmentally responsible equipment and materials Five Star Paving is ready to earn your business.
